Friedrich Luxburg zu Carolath-Beuthen is a Venezuelan attorney, entrepreneur, and international advisor with nearly four decades of experience in legal services, international business, asset protection, cross-border transactions, and private client advisory. He serves as President of Luxburg Carolath Abogados, one of Venezuela's longest-established independent law firms, founded in 1941.

As Head of the House of Luxburg Carolath, he combines a long-standing family tradition with modern international legal practice, advising private clients, family offices, corporations, investors, and entrepreneurs on complex legal and commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Professional Experience

​Since 1987, Friedrich von Luxburg has served as President of:

  • Luxburg Carolath Abogados (est. 1941) – a multidisciplinary law firm providing legal services in corporate law, international transactions, private client advisory, real estate, investment structures, and cross-border business matters.

  • Luxburg Carolath Foundation (est. 1940) – a private foundation dedicated to cultural, social, educational, and charitable initiatives.

  • Global Venezuelan Social and Business Club (est. 2023) – an international platform promoting business development, networking, and investment opportunities connecting Venezuela with global markets.

He also serves as Head of the House of Luxburg Carolath, continuing the legacy of the family alliance established in 1869.

Legal Qualifications

Friedrich von Luxburg graduated in Law from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) in Caracas and has been admitted to practice law in Venezuela since 1986.

He is a registered member of the Colegio de Abogados del Estado Zulia and is registered with the Venezuelan Instituto de Previsión Social del Abogado (INPREABOGADO).
